Refund & Cancellation Policy
The California Lobby Guide (calobbyguide.com) is operated by Fifty Domes LLC, an Oklahoma limited liability company (“Fifty Domes,” “we,” “us”). Fifty Domes publishes independent directories built from public records, including its state lobby guides and Capitol guides. These policies apply to all of them. Contact: clerk@fiftydomes.com.

Prices are the same in every state, are in U.S. dollars, and do not include sales tax. Where sales tax applies, it is calculated from your billing address and shown at checkout before you pay. There are no setup fees and no discount codes.
How billing works
- Subscriptions renew automatically. Monthly plans renew every month and annual plans renew every year, on the same date you first paid, until you cancel. Each renewal is charged to the payment method on file at the price in effect at that time.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Checkout, receipts, invoices and the billing portal are hosted by Stripe, Inc. We never see or store your full card or bank account number.
- Card or bank account (ACH). You can pay by credit or debit card, or by ACH direct debit from a U.S. bank account. If you choose ACH, you authorize Fifty Domes, through Stripe, to debit that account for the first payment and for each renewal until you cancel. ACH payments usually take up to 4 business days to clear. A paid feature that you buy with ACH turns on once the payment succeeds. If the bank returns an ACH payment, the feature is paused until the payment is made.
- Sales tax. We collect sales tax only where we are registered to collect it and where the plan is taxable. Stripe works it out from your billing address. If you are tax-exempt, email us your exemption certificate before you buy, or as soon as you can after.
- Annual reminders. We send an email reminder before each annual renewal. Price changes apply only from your next renewal, and we will tell you at least 30 days before.
- Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry it and email you. If it still has not been paid after the retry period, the subscription ends and the paid feature stops.
Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time from the Stripe billing portal (the link on your receipt), or by emailing clerk@fiftydomes.com from the address you used to subscribe.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You keep the paid feature (for example, your Featured label) until then, and you are not charged again.
- Cancelling a paid plan never removes your free claimed profile or any public-record information.
Refunds
- Monthly plans: no refunds for partial months. Cancel any time to stop the next charge.
- Annual plans: full refund if you ask within 14 days of your first annual payment, or within 14 days of an annual renewal charge. After 14 days, annual plans are not refunded for the unused part of the year, but you can cancel so it does not renew.
- Our mistakes: we always refund duplicate charges and billing errors. If we remove a Featured listing for a reason that is not a breach of our Terms, or a paid feature is unavailable for more than 7 days in a row because of us, we refund the unused part of the period.
- Breaches: if we remove a paid feature because it broke our Terms (for example, false information on a profile), no refund is due for the period already started.
- Refunds include any sales tax charged and go back to the original card or bank account. Card refunds usually arrive in 5 to 10 business days. ACH refunds can take up to 10 business days.
- To ask for a refund, email clerk@fiftydomes.com with the email address on the subscription. Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank. We will usually reply within 2 business days.
Featured listings are paid placement
Featured listings are paid advertising. They always carry a visible “Featured” label. Paying does not change the public-record information we show, such as registrations or clients. It does not change the order of regular search results, and it does not mean the state or Fifty Domes endorses anyone. We cap how many Featured listings each guide shows.
